[LOG] CLUB FAIR AT LUNCH
Who: EVERYONE
What: Lunch + Club Fair
When: End of the 2nd week of School
Where: Lunchroom and Courtyard
She takes it too seriously
"What the hell is this." She growled. "Why would you advertise this. In the lunchroom. Where everyone can see." How did they even get a table for this in the first place. This was not something Pajea had suggested. That much was certain.
She side-eyed Langley suspiciously. He wasn't serious about it, was he? It was a cult. Not a friend club.
[re] WE ARENT A REAL CULT I SWEAR
"OCCULT CLUB: for the study of paranormal activities and, the studies and research into the psychological and societal happenings in cults." Niko paused for a moment "In other words we study cults and the paranormal, we arent a real cult, please read the club descriptor sheets before making such rude assumptions. "
Niko stood up and started to rearrange the descriptor sheets again.
"We used the name 'occult club' because the founder thought 'paranormal investagation club' was too long. If you have any other questions about our club, im happy to answer them."
Shoot this isnt the CULT cult
Pajea instantly felt her throat tighten, and she took a step back, wringing her hands anxiously.
"That's...that's..." This was just some kid club. Not the actual cult-ey thing she had joined.
"That's a bit of false advertising in the name." She was definitely shaking, though a smile was starting to form on her face. "You...you should be careful. You'll get the jesus club on your back with a name like that." She nabbed one of the pens and wrote her name down on the sign-up sheet, staring at eye-level with Niko.
please do not be upset i am medium sized and afraid
"Im not t-too worried about the bible club, honestly" Niko was terrified of the bible club actually, he didnt want to get into any conflicts at the moment.
"But anyways!" Niko smiled, eyes darting around a lot to avoid eye contact. "It'd be nice to have you in the club! its usually pretty fun, we went to a legitimate haunted house last year and it was really cool and interesting! I mean if youre more into the other aspects of the club thats fine too, we do a lot of interesting things!"
tall, queer, and incuding fear
"I do apologize, then, for coming off as rude." She's not sorry. Her tone is entirely sarcastic. "I'd love to be in your little club."
"I'll get the cobwebs off my ouija board, then," She looked to Niko with an unblinking stare. "and maybe, with luck, we'll be able to contact a spirit. You're a fan of that kind of thing, yes?"
She looks like she'd rather get you possessed than summon a spirit alongside you.
Re: tall, queer, and incuding fear
"i know that youre being sarcastic by the way, im not as dumb as you make me out to be" He put his elbows on the table and leaned his head in his hands. "if youre just here to make fun of the club i dont care, actually. go for it. i really dont care."
no subject
"Did I ever say what I thought your intelligence was? I don't recall saying such. Making assumptions like that can land you in real trouble, you know." Her smile relaxed, and she gave a small laugh. "Why would I sign up for a club I have no interest in? This material, these concepts...they're fascinating. If I had no interest, I simply wouldn't be here--" Pajea freed one arm from her pocket and gestured to the table. "--and here I am."
no subject
"i-im so sorry i just took your tone as making fun of me and i know that youre interested at least, so i just thought you were making fun of me and i went and ran my mouth gosh im so so sorry!!" Niko shrunk back in his chair, putting his face in his hands. He knows he fucked up.
no subject
"Simple mistake, nothing to apologize for. I'm not that fragile." She picked up one of the flyers, looking over the club description.
"So there's movies, too? That's..." Childish? Immature? Perhaps 'dumb' is a better fitting word. "...cute."
no subject
"oh alright im still really sorry about that... also about the movies, theyre technically documentaries on haunted places, theyre pretty fun, although some of the members want to watch other movies so we watch horror movies on occasion"
Niko vaguely recalls his roommate, who had requested twilight at one point. "We try to keep it mainly documentaries though cause we get in trouble for it not being 'educational'"
