It's now a couple of weeks into school and it's about time for a real club fair hosted by the Student Council! Tables are set up around the lunchroom giving students a chance to talk to the different club presidents and members about joining. Lunch has been extended to an hour and a half today with a few of the teachers and students grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers for the student body. You were even given one of those little cards where you have to get signatures from 4 different club presidents proving you participated for credit!

Pajea's smile turned from nervous to somewhat excited as she saw the kid before her getting nervous. She leaned over him, tilting her head to one side.
"I do apologize, then, for coming off as rude." She's not sorry. Her tone is entirely sarcastic. "I'd love to be in your little club."
"I'll get the cobwebs off my ouija board, then," She looked to Niko with an unblinking stare. "and maybe, with luck, we'll be able to contact a spirit. You're a fan of that kind of thing, yes?"
She looks like she'd rather get you possessed than summon a spirit alongside you.

Niko sunk back into his chair, playing with his scarf. "Ouija boards are actually kinda dangerous...theyre interesting but the results are very mixed." Niko frowned and looked up.

"i know that youre being sarcastic by the way, im not as dumb as you make me out to be" He put his elbows on the table and leaned his head in his hands. "if youre just here to make fun of the club i dont care, actually. go for it. i really dont care."

"These things aren't so bad, so long as you're with the right people..." Pajea shrugged, sticking her hands in her pockets.

"Did I ever say what I thought your intelligence was? I don't recall saying such. Making assumptions like that can land you in real trouble, you know." Her smile relaxed, and she gave a small laugh. "Why would I sign up for a club I have no interest in? This material, these concepts...they're fascinating. If I had no interest, I simply wouldn't be here--" Pajea freed one arm from her pocket and gestured to the table. "--and here I am."

Niko froze. Fuck he said something rude again.

"i-im so sorry i just took your tone as making fun of me and i know that youre interested at least, so i just thought you were making fun of me and i went and ran my mouth gosh im so so sorry!!" Niko shrunk back in his chair, putting his face in his hands. He knows he fucked up.

Pajea felt a certain rush of excitement in gaining the upper hand, situationally. Her interactions with the student body often did not work in her favor, so she was definitely relishing in this moment.

"Simple mistake, nothing to apologize for. I'm not that fragile." She picked up one of the flyers, looking over the club description.
"So there's movies, too? That's..." Childish? Immature? Perhaps 'dumb' is a better fitting word. "...cute."

Niko looked up from his hands, he felt really bad still but it was a simple mistake right?

"oh alright im still really sorry about that... also about the movies, theyre technically documentaries on haunted places, theyre pretty fun, although some of the members want to watch other movies so we watch horror movies on occasion"

Niko vaguely recalls his roommate, who had requested twilight at one point. "We try to keep it mainly documentaries though cause we get in trouble for it not being 'educational'"
