[LOG] CLUB FAIR AT LUNCH

It's now a couple of weeks into school and it's about time for a real club fair hosted by the Student Council! Tables are set up around the lunchroom giving students a chance to talk to the different club presidents and members about joining. Lunch has been extended to an hour and a half today with a few of the teachers and students grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers for the student body. You were even given one of those little cards where you have to get signatures from 4 different club presidents proving you participated for credit!

She winces and leans away from Alexei. "I-I asked him earlier this week." Then almost drops the hot dog she was holding. "No!! We are not!! I just asked him to the dance because I thought he'd be fun to go with-" The bigger and stronger comment shut her up to a solid line of grumbles.

So he was shorter than her. A lot of guys were. Cassidy wasn't weak though, she knew that.

"I'm so glad you both found each other. You're going to be such a cute couple" Alexei pulls a rose out of his backpack, this one was red. "Yo know he totally would fall apart if you gave this to him? Huge romantic that guy"

"Alexei that's not what's going on-" Aerika rubs her forehead in exasperation. "We're not dating-and just how many roses do you have in there??"

She'll take the rose regardless... Oh well. May as well see what Cassidy does in response.

"You aren't?" He smile faded and he, yeah, he looked a little upset. Like someone had just got his hopes up and then shoved them back down to the ground.

"Why not?"

Why not? She honestly hadn't thought about it.

"I don't know... because we're not."

"You already asked him out- and that's the first step." Alexei leaned back in. "You two are cute together, and he totally thinks your cute."

She'll push a finger against Alexei's forehead when he leans in too close. "And what do you know about that."

"Like you're some expert on the subject??"

"Um well... I think- yeah I am pretty well informed!" Alexei doesn't try pushing his face nearer to hers "Why not go out with him?"

Aerika seems satisfied with Alexei's distance, "Because this is just a dance, can't it just be a fun way to spend the night and not about getting a boyfriend?"

Not that she wanted to talk to Alexei of all people about relationships. Even if he loved talking romance.
