It's now a couple of weeks into school and it's about time for a real club fair hosted by the Student Council! Tables are set up around the lunchroom giving students a chance to talk to the different club presidents and members about joining. Lunch has been extended to an hour and a half today with a few of the teachers and students grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers for the student body. You were even given one of those little cards where you have to get signatures from 4 different club presidents proving you participated for credit!

Eli squints at that comment. He opens his mouth to comment, but realizes he doesn't actually want Alexei prattling on about how he thinks he's a member of the football team.

He almost felt sorry for the kid way more often than he was comfortable with.
