[LOG] CLUB FAIR AT LUNCH

Who: EVERYONE
What: Lunch + Club Fair
When: End of the 2nd week of School
Where: Lunchroom and Courtyard

It's now a couple of weeks into school and it's about time for a real club fair hosted by the Student Council! Tables are set up around the lunchroom giving students a chance to talk to the different club presidents and members about joining. Lunch has been extended to an hour and a half today with a few of the teachers and students grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers for the student body. You were even given one of those little cards where you have to get signatures from 4 different club presidents proving you participated for credit!

"Professional." He explained simply. Other things, such as 'clean', 'put together', and 'I'm better than you' 'authoritative' simply went without saying.

"I will be graduating this spring." Lawrence said, neatly covering any excitement in his voice with cool pride. "And yourself?" He added. It was only polite.

"Professional?" Leroy couldn't help but laugh. "A professional student? Does it pay well? Do you have health benefits?" He raised the debate sign up and finished snickering, shaking his head. "I'm sorry. It's a nice tie. It looks expensive. You must have a lot of money, to be a professional student. But you're a senior, so you are getting promoted."

He shook his head again, trying not to stare at the other boy. There was something unsettling about that put-togetherness, that detachment. Professional. Like a hit-man. "I'm a junior. I would be graduating but... Life advice. If they tell you to go to a hospital, just don't. It's a huge timesuck."
