[LOG] CLUB FAIR AT LUNCH

It's now a couple of weeks into school and it's about time for a real club fair hosted by the Student Council! Tables are set up around the lunchroom giving students a chance to talk to the different club presidents and members about joining. Lunch has been extended to an hour and a half today with a few of the teachers and students grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers for the student body. You were even given one of those little cards where you have to get signatures from 4 different club presidents proving you participated for credit!

Bella snaked her way around the lunchroom. Boring. "Clubs are stupid and the only reason people ever join them is to get away from their shitty problems with a 'friend-mily' who will leave them once they realize that clubs are stupid," the girl said to herself because she has no friends. Lurching around the lunchroom got her nowhere, until she found.... it. The Holy Grail of clubs. The only club Bella wouldn't mind being around other people. Because those people are nerds. She can totally own nerds.

She cringed at the thought of discussing anime. She didn't even like anime. She only watched the rom-coms and other kinds she didn't like to talk about in public. Everything else was shit.

Bella approached the booth looking quite smug. She examined the sign, the figurines and DVDs, and then her attention turned to the laptop. She thought, "Might as well see if there's anything interesting." Then she saw it. It was beautiful. It was the best moment she had all day, except for when she called that freshman "a piece of ham hanging from the tree and me, a hungry tiger who hasn't eaten in like, 2 days." So beautiful.
She saw a fursuit.
Oh, the magnificent purple fur and the hand crafted clothing strewn upon its gorgeous anthropomorphic body. Truly, a stunning lone wolf. It's eyes stared into Bella's soul, and Bella's soul stared back, longing to be more like the wolf she was inside.
She had to see more.

"Is this the club where you can be a huge nerd and no one can judge you for it?"

"I don't know if the club members like to think of ourselves as 'huge nerds,'" Tanum said indignantly, but then considered the reactions of pretty much everyone who had come by so far. "...But maybe that's how certain groups at this school would describe us."

She looked around at the table, looking for a signup sheet. All Bella wanted to do was just sign up and get out of there. She wasn't there to make friends, only to fulfill her requirements so she can just be done with this whole "high school" thing. College, that's where the real party was at.

"So... where do I sign up," she asked hesitantly.
