[LOG] CLUB FAIR AT LUNCH

It's now a couple of weeks into school and it's about time for a real club fair hosted by the Student Council! Tables are set up around the lunchroom giving students a chance to talk to the different club presidents and members about joining. Lunch has been extended to an hour and a half today with a few of the teachers and students grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers for the student body. You were even given one of those little cards where you have to get signatures from 4 different club presidents proving you participated for credit!

"Uhh...." said Tanum. "You're only...supposed...to take one......"

[screechowl]

Kotori kept her eyes locked on Tanum's, almost as if she were daring him to continue. Then, she laughed loudly, and dropped (most) of the candy back in the bowl. "Chill out, dude," she said, smirking. "I'm messing with you."

She popped some candy in her mouth and looked at the display that was put up. "So, tell me about your nerd club. Why does everyone have such big eyes?"

"It's the style, it's what anime looks like," Tanum said defensively. "And it's not a nerd club, it's the same kind of thing as people who play fantasy football and paint themselves up at football games."

[screechowl]

Kotori rolled her eyes and smirked. "Man, you are getting way too riled up about this. I just wanna know about your cartoons." She pointed at one of the characters with sparkly eyes. "This one's cute."

She pocketed another piece of candy.

[necardio]

"That's Madoka Magica, it's, uh," Tanum searched for the right words to describe it without spoiling anything. "Cute at first, I guess. But then...not so much later."

[screechowl]

"Mah-do-ka?" What.

"Well what's so cute about it? Why is her hair pink? And what's the little white guy with the red eyes? I like him."

There were a lot of other anime characters on the board, some of them she recognized. Dragonball Z was anime? Who knew. And Pokemon? Huh.
