[LOG] CLUB FAIR AT LUNCH

It's now a couple of weeks into school and it's about time for a real club fair hosted by the Student Council! Tables are set up around the lunchroom giving students a chance to talk to the different club presidents and members about joining. Lunch has been extended to an hour and a half today with a few of the teachers and students grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers for the student body. You were even given one of those little cards where you have to get signatures from 4 different club presidents proving you participated for credit!

Tanum squinted at the tiny freshman glaring up at him. He cleared his throat and proclaimed, "Anime, the colloquial Japanese word for "animation" is an art form, a genre, from the Land of the Rising Sun. The anime club, made up of 'otaku', the Japanese word for people who love anime and the fandom around it, meets to watch anime, discuss it, and do activities to express our love of anime."

He was slightly out of breath when he finished, and had obviously been practicing.

I FORGOT THEY'RE ROOMMATES.......

"....sooooo like. One Piece???" Because he would totally watch the like 4kids One Piece and loves it.
Elliot's digging out the paper to get Tanum to sign. Getting his roommate to sign would be easy right.

" You're not doin this in our room or anything though right. "

"No, we have way too many members for a dorm room!" Oddly enough, true, since the anime club is ironically one of the most well-populated clubs at school. "And One Piece is..." Tanum paused. "Cool, I guess, if you like the entry-level stuff. But if you come to our meetings we'll show you lots of more obscure anime that's really good!"

imagine half their room is anime posters and the other half is skating posters and pinup posters

Again, 4kids. Elliot watches saturday morning cartoons. And probably DBZ.

He slowly slides his paper for Tanum to slide over.

tanum's half probs includes anime pinup posters how does elliot feel about that

"Uhh.....no, but...I can show you some stuff anytime if you want, I have DVDs!" Honestly, it's a mystery how Elliot has gotten this far into the school year without Tanum indoctrinating him into all his interests. He signs the sheet without really thinking about it.
