[LOG] CLUB FAIR AT LUNCH

It's now a couple of weeks into school and it's about time for a real club fair hosted by the Student Council! Tables are set up around the lunchroom giving students a chance to talk to the different club presidents and members about joining. Lunch has been extended to an hour and a half today with a few of the teachers and students grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers for the student body. You were even given one of those little cards where you have to get signatures from 4 different club presidents proving you participated for credit!

Erastus saw the sign, he read the sign, and he lifted up and looked around. He wrote his own name and added in Kenzi's, however one very important thing was missing from the table.

Where the hell was the rep?

Seriously, did he just sign the piece of note book paper and walk away? No. that couldn't be it, when did the club meet? That'd be nice to know. Erastus sighed and walked around to the back of the table, there were free chairs just existing there so he'd figured he'd sit down and eat while he waited for the club captain to get back.

He never really showed up to the archery club meetings anymore now with football eating up his entire schedule, but Julian still liked to visit on occasion. "Are you the rep they picked this year?" He asks with a smile. He'd never seen this kid before.

Erastus looked up, at the new comer. "Uhhh, No, I'm waiting to find the rep and I figured while I waited I wouldn't waste to much more of my lunch hour and start digging in." He scratched at the back of his neck, "Gonna guess you're not the rep though." He stated.

"Nah-not me. I'm definitely not an active enough member to be given that kind of responsibility." Julian answers with a wave of his hand.

Erastus nodded and gave a quite, "Ah." Well that didn't help much. "So then do you at least know when they meet up or where?" he asked.

"Uhhhh Thursdays. Usually when I've got football practice or work. So after school on the opposite end of the science wing I think?"

"Unless they changed it."

Erastus shrugged, "well if you think you'd manage to sneak away from footba-- wait!" This stranger was suddenly a bit more familiar to Erastus. "I thought I knew who you were, er, are! You're Julian right!? How'd ya do it?" He asked, his eyes getting a mischievous glint in them.

"Y-yeah that's my name." Julian definitely looks taken aback by Erastus's outburst. He was going to look around to make sure people weren't staring, but, honestly nothing could compete with Clint's volume level.

"E-excuse me? How'd I do what?"

"The car, how'd you get a car up into the roof?" Erastus asked bouncing a bit In his seat. "I would have never thought of that."

OH. He doesn't relax regardless, but at lest he finally knew what this kid was talking about.

"I mean-it wasn't my idea either honestly..."

"Still, like you didn't just drive a car up on to the school's roof."

Erastus leaned back a bit in the chair, "Also if you wanna you can sit down, no need to stand around or whatever." He offered.

"W-well. No we didn't drive up onto the roof."

Julian glances to the side, rubbing his arm a little. "I-I that's okay."

Erastus nodded. "Okay...uh, so this is probably dumb, but, If we can't find the archery club on Thursday could I just have your cell phone number so I could text you to ask?"

Stupid reps, why couldn't they just be here dammit.

Ruari heard there was an archery club so of course that's her first stop. She makes a beeline for a table and excitedly scribbles down her info before looking up at the boy lounging behind the table.

"Hmm you look kind of young to be in charge of a club."

Erastus half chocked on his meal. "I'm not. I'm waiting for the person that runs the club to find out when and where all the meetings are." He explained. he pointed to the note book paper that was left, "I mean, its just the sign up sheet and the thing that says 'Archery club'."

He shrugged after leaning back again in his chair. Feeling a bit bad that he didn't have more information for the girl, who did seem pretty pumped up when she wrote down her name.

"Do I know you?" J'Kal looks over Erastus coldly. "I don't recall asking you to watch the booth."

J'Kal cursed himself for losing track of time at the gym. He was definitely late and it was his own damn fault but it wasn't like he was going to admit it. Roshan had been nice enough to put up the poster and sign up sheet but was unsurprisingly not here. He guessed the booth had been left empty for a while but he wasn't just going to let some punk ass kid he'd never met represent his club.

Erastus glanced up at the guy who'd just walked up. "No you probably don't know me and you didn't ask me to watch the booth, I just took a seat here, because a friend and I wanted to join, but didn't see any reps. So I thought I'd stay here till one showed up." Erastus explained, ignoring the cold glare.

J'Kal takes a deep breath and straightens himself up. No need to get bent out of shape now. Being personable might actually get people to STAY in archery club this year.

"Well you're all signed up and I'm here now so..." be polite it's not that hard. "Thank you," he finishes lamely. It almost sounds like a question. He places himself behind the booth and takes a quick look over the sign up sheet. "There's no information on this is there..." he squints.

Erastus watches the guy regain his composure and glances around a bit nervously. When they spoke up again Erastus quickly answered him. "Yeah, I am. So's my friend Kenzie. Uhhh, but yeah. There's nothing on there about meet times or location." He pointed out to him.

"So uh... Well I'm Erastus. You are?"

"J'Kal," he answers without looking up from the sheet, furiously scribbling down the missing info. Once he's done he looks up and offers his hand with unnecessary formality. "Nice to meet you Erastus. Do you have any prior experience with archery then?"

"Oh, Uh. I guess a small bit. And nice to meet you to J'kal." Erastus realized soon after that answering with 'a small bit' probably wasn't a whole lot to go for the guy, "I mean. I know you point the arrow were you want it to go and pull back on the string. I haven't gotten to actually do much of it my self."
