WHO: Nate and Aerika
WHAT: Picking out clothing for the dance
WHEN: After school
WHERE: Aerika's dorm room (B2-1)

Once Nate learned that Aerika actually had a date to the upcoming dance he knew that they needed to see each other. There was no way in the world that he was going to let her go to this dance not looking her absolute finest. Admittedly he was a little bummed that he couldn't go with her, but such is life. She was going with a cutie instead. Date-dates were definitely less sad than friend-dates.

He didn't exactly communicate that he was going to help her pick out clothes, just sent her a text saying that he was coming over. Probably when he was right outside of the dorm building. He went up to her room and did the polite thing and knocked on her door instead of climbing in through her window.

"It's an American Classic" Bucky hopped out of the way of Aerika's swing before turning to Nate "What you gonna doll me up all pretty too?"

"More like a classic piece of mediocre film. That's okay though. I know more complicated things can be more difficult for you to grasp."

He reached out and took a lock of Bucky's hair gently between his fingers, "Well if you want to sweetheart. I would be more than happy to."

There's a sound of impact as Aerika smacks her forehead. "Guys..."

It was going to be a long trip.

"Oh christ man" Bucky jumps out out of Nate's reach. "I was kidding ya know."

Nate chuckled, "Yeah so was I." He raised his eyebrow, "Or am I?"

He turned and smiled at Aerika and smiled, "Shall we get going? If you get us started I definitely wouldn't stop messing with this kid."

She stands up, "Yeah, let's go. " And get this over with. "We still have to catch the bus or-whatever." Aerika had to double check that she had her keys and wallet before leaving. She probably would have forgotten her phone had she not been gripping it still while exiting the dorm.

"I'm sure you could make Bucky look...more decorated?" Lets face it, neither of the blondes had any real sense of fashion. If Nate wanted an uphill battle, he certainly found one.

"Yeah Nate, pick me up some bling while we're at it. Unless you don't think you can get more than me"

"Oh I am sure I could do that. It might be a little difficult. Bucky always looks like he has a christmas tree for a close cousin." Nate did a quick pat down of his pockets to make sure that he had everything that he came with. Bucky didn't usually try to pickpocket him but sometimes you could never be too careful.

"Are you challenging me, sir?"

Are they still standing in her room, because if so she's going to push them out the door. Leave already. Aerika was already regretting her choices in close friends and their tenacity for trouble. They could be such a headache sometimes.

"GUYS." She's giving them both a sternish look. They know she hates it when either of them steal, especially when she's around.

Hell she doesn't need to get any more involved with the law than she already was. The Christmas tree comment was funny though. So she's definitely not being as tough as she could be. She's not smiling at all. No. This was serious. Stealing was wrong.

Nate laughed and patted Aerika on the shoulder before walking out of her room.

"Don't worry. I'll be good." Mostly. Maybe. Well if he chose not to be good Aerika definitely wouldn't hear about it. That would be entirely counterproductive to misbehaving.

"You'll probably have to keep a close eye on Bucky though. Kid's got sticky fingers."

"You're one to talk." Bucky ignroed Aerika and kept egging nate on "You know I can clear a place out way better than you"

"Ah you poor, sweet, blind little dove." Nate sighed dramatically, "It isn't the content, it's the worth."

He gave Aerika a quick apologetic smile. He knew that she really didn't like talking about this sort of thing. Or knowing about it. He generally did his best to keep it from her but Bucky. Well, Bucky was a different story.
