Even if you didn't have a snap chat, you found out through SOMEONE that Jojo and Easton were throwing a back to school party. However the two didn't really make any attempts to set anything special up? No food or games or decorations were up. Neither of them were very good at planning. But to their credit they just wanted to hang out with people they hadn't seen for the past few months.
And if things got out of hand well, Easton and Jojo had already ruined their dorm room once why not do it again?
yeh i knew dat ;)
"I was actually hoping that the kiddies would clear out soon," she admitted. She puffed air out upwards, blowing her bangs up for a moment before they bounced back against her forehead.
Re: yeh i knew dat ;)
"That's not very likely," he insisted, hopping up onto the top of the couch. "The younger they are, the longer they stay. That's how these things work. You and I? We've already seen parties. Know how they work. Know they aren't actually all they're cracked up to be." He swung his legs forward and back, bouncing them off the couch back in a lazy rhythm.

She grimaced at Eli's comment, scanning over the room for a while before looking back to him with distain. "That's true..." she said hesitantly as she pursed her lips together in frustration. "Honestly, if it doesn't clear out soon, I'll probably just head back to my dorm and spend the rest of the night there." She hoped that wasn't the case. She hated when nights that promised to offer some sort of fun turned out lamely.
god damn it
"I'm sure you'll have just about as much fun as you're having now." He paused. "Though, this is a Weston-McKelly party. I'm sure something exciting is going to go down before the night is over." He leveled her with a bemused stare.
"I don't know about you, but I'm going to stick around and find out." He returned to his phone, now going through his photos; as if searching for something. "Mostly because I'm required to, but. Also it'll probably be funny."
fuck the rules
"I guess I'll have to just suffer through this until then," she said, a smirk donning her features. She glanced up to Eli for a second and then went back to looking over the room before asking, "Wanna sit with me? We can laugh at all the freshmen getting drunk for the first time."

"Apparently they already broke like. Half of the furniture in their dorm. We aren't even given that much to work with. It was move-in day one, one--" with this, his hands shot into the air in exasperation, "--and Kelly came crying to me about some totaled-- whatever it was. Can you believe they chose bunk beds?"

"Holy shit," Kotori breathed, more annoyed at the stupidity than anything else. "How the fuck do you mess up that badly?" She scanned the room for the two perpetrators, judging them from a distance. "And bunk beds? How old are they, five?"
no subject
Eli cringed and looked away. "They've got the mentality of five year olds, I can tell you that much."
no subject
"You probably weren't expecting to have to deal with those two when you took the RA position, were you?"

He just figured since he knew most of the 'troublemakers' personally, that would somehow ... make it easier for him to not give a shit about what messes they were causing? Whatever, there was logic in there somewhere, he just didn't want to dig it out right now.
"There was also the possibility of getting assigned the other building. Which ... obviously didn't happen. But." He sighed. It wasn't as if he hated Weston and McKelly. They were cool guys; he just didn't want to deal with all the shit they were destined to break.
