Even if you didn't have a snap chat, you found out through SOMEONE that Jojo and Easton were throwing a back to school party. However the two didn't really make any attempts to set anything special up? No food or games or decorations were up. Neither of them were very good at planning. But to their credit they just wanted to hang out with people they hadn't seen for the past few months.

And if things got out of hand well, Easton and Jojo had already ruined their dorm room once why not do it again?

Kotori is gone before Ruari can even open her mouth. It takes her a couple seconds to process what just happened. She looks at her hand, clutching the paper bag, and back to where Kotori had been just moments before.

Uhhhhhh. Well so much for Kotori being her social guide. She really should've known better.

Ok so. She has a wine cooler. She's holding alcohol. Besides a sip of wine during Christmas Ruari's never had a drink in her life. To be honest she doesn't think she's ready to have any right now. Maybe she can give it someone and they'll talk to her??? That's how it works right?

Eli watched this entire exchange happen from afar with a Mountain Dew and a curious fascination. This is why he was here-- to watch freshmen at their very worst; parties. They always either tiptoed around like the fucking police were going to break the doors down at any second, or went batshit crazy and ended up vomited in someone's potted plant. The floor didn't have any decorative foliage, so Eli hoped for the former. Though-- if someone puked, he could probably get an underclassman to clean it up for him so ... sure, why the hell not. Go crazy.

He approached Ruari from behind, not quite meaning to be sneaky about it but definitely not putting any effort into not scaring the hell out of her.

"You old enough to have that?" he asked, putting on a serious facade and giving her the ol' Meekus look.

Ruari's pretty much caught up in her own thoughts so Eli's question doesn't quite register right away. "What? Oh. Um..."

She pauses and turns around to look at him. She squints trying to remember who he is. The RA? Uh crap, wait ok Ruari play it cool.

"Old enough to have what? A paper bag? I didn't know there was an age limit for that." She tries to smile and appear confident. She probably isn't too successful.

He merely raises his eyebrows.

Ruari just stares at him for a little bit.

"Um... So you're the RA right?" Smooth Rauri.

"Next time you want to drink at school," he says slowly, "try to disguise it a little better. Don't get me in trouble."

Never mind the fact some other chick was screaming about Jello shots, but. One at a time here.

"I'm not planning on drinking, but ok." Ruari winced a little. She wasn't lying but she was also currently holding alcohol so...

"Sorry," she mumbles anyway.

"Alright, alright; move along," he sighs, almost interrupting her. He motions for her to leave and find someone else to talk to, even though he was the one who came to her in the first place.

Wait what he came over to talk to her. Whatever.

Ruari gives him a bewildered look before making her way into the crowd, hoping she'll find someone a little more.... friendly there.

Roshan meanders away from the wild call of JELLO SHOTS. She's already got a can of shitty beer and jello shots are a dangerous game. So is being around Inara at parties but that's another thing. Yrinn will probably set her on fire if she gets suckered into a game of spin the bottle again.

"Hey freshman from earlier," she recognizes Ruari wandering toward her. Definitely a freshman, Roshan would remember that hair. She sees the paper bag and smirks. DEFINITELY a freshman. "Getting into trouble right away I see."

Ruari's eyes light up at the familiar face. It feels good to be recognized.

"Well actually... I don't think I want this so I guess I'm lucky nothing happened with the RA" she replies, a little sheepish. "You wouldn't happen to know anyone that likes," she lowers her voice, "wine coolers, would you?" How scandalous.

Roshan raises her eyebrows. "Wine coolers." Living life on the edge.

"Just finish it quick, don't worry about the RA," she waves her hand dismissively. "Eli's an ass anyway, he probably only took the RA job so he could boss around underclassmen."

Ruari's cheeks flush with embarrassment. "No it's... not that I just, I don't know if I'm ready... to drink..." Oh god she's gonna think Ruari's so lame.

Roshan looks at her a little skeptically but shrugs. "Well these are barely alcoholic but I'm not gonna tell you what to do."

She takes the wine cooler from Ruari nonetheless and downs it immediately. "If you change your mind I'll get you a replacement, er... what was your name again?"

Ruari's thankful to be rid of the wine cooler, even if it barely had any alcohol in it. It was the principal...

"I don't think that'll be necessary, but thanks. Oh and I'm Ruari!" She smiles.
