[log] FOOTBALL ON THE MALL (courtyard)
There has been tradition at Dice North Senior High School since as long as any of the students can remember, which isn't very long since the seniors had only been attending the school for 3 years. Nonetheless Clint had brought out a couple of cones to use as a makeshift inzone and, much to Easton's dismay, the pinnies to differentiate teams.
So at about 3pm on wednesday afternoon Clinton Calloway pushes the siren button from the middle of the courtyard. "DICE HIGH STUUUUUDENTS! HURRY ON OVER TO THE COURTYARD FOR A FUN, ALL AMERICAN GAME OF FOOOOTBALL!"
okay but seriously why hasn't anyone taken that away from him yet.
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
Why were all the girls at this school so pretty???
Still, once the gay thoughts pass, the news sinks in and she frowns in disappointment. "Ah, really? Damn..." She looks back to the team with longing.
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
" No, he just made the announcement. Our guys can last a little longer than that. "
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
"So you must be a cheerleader right?"
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
" What, you don't think I could be a player? "He frowns at her a little.
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
Wrong on so many levels
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
He put his hands on his hips and leaned his weight to one leg.
"What, do I look like a girl to you?"
Well. Yes. He looks like a girl to most people.
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
"O-oh my gosh, I'm sorry I didn't-- you-- wait-- are you joking with me again cuz I'm like...really confused now..."
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
"Boys can be cheerleaders too, you know. "
Being a cheerleader probably really wasn't the problem Shani was having here, but ok Areli.
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
"So-- wait. You're a cheerleader...and a boy??"
Yes that's what he just said.
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
"There you go."
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
God, this was going so smoothly. She clears her throat and changes the subject. "So if they let boys be cheerleaders, do you think they'll let girls be players?"
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
He shrugged and continued to stretch. "I dunno, I don't see any girls up there. " He reached down and touched his toes, not giving her his full attention. " But Clint's the captain, and find it really unlikely that he'll say no. He's a pretty nice dude."
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
She takes a deep breath. "Alright...yeah. Just gotta show them my stuff," she mutters, cracking her knuckles. "Show em what I'm made of!" A grin spreads on her face as determination flows through her.
"Thanks for cheering me up! You're really good at this whole cheerleader business!"

Re: DORMS --> FIELD
Still, she runs out about halfway before slowing. Wait...which one was Clint??? Uh. Shit.
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
He spots Shani making her way towards the players looking lost. "Aw shit," he mutters under his breath noticing she's headed away from Areli. He can only hope that Areli wasn't too rude to the fresh meat.
"Hey kid!" he jogs across the field to meet Shani halfway. "You're here for the game yeah?"
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
She nods enthusiastically. "Mhmm, yup! I heard the announcement and came down here as soon as I could! I normally play line but I'll fill whatever you need!"
Re: DORMS --> FIELD
"I'll take you over to Clint, he'll let you know what we need this season. I'm Rotk by the way, I'm on the offensive line." He offers his hand out.
