Re: [text]
haha sorry PROBABLY not my thing dude;;;
Re: [text]
But hey, no worries dude.
[in person]
He slips on his (black) converse and when he gets close enough says "It takes more than two people to play this game."
nailed it
Re: [in person]
He looks up at the sound of Cassidy's voice and pauses his music. He rolls his eyes a bit. "Oh really? Well I guess I've been playing ultimate wrong all these years," the corners of his mouth turn up for a smirk.
"I'm sure other people will show," he sits up and goes back to spinning the disk on his finger. Then he pushes it up into the air, hits it with his elbow as it falls down and catches it on his finger again.
Re: [in person]
He walks over and does the anime cool guy thing where you lean up against the opposite side of the bench and look over your shoulder. "You texted me an hour ago."
Re: [in person]
"Oh, uh," Oliver looks at the time on his iphone. "I guess it has been an hour. Well I made a post in the network but maybe nobody saw it." He shrugs.
Too bad neither of them were the type to announce the event over a megaphone.
Re: [in person]
Oliver and him actually got on really well. Oliver was calm, cool, collected and confident. He was basically what Cassidy WANTED to be, but spent most of his time worrying about what other people think of him so wasn't anywhere near that level. He also had good taste in music.
He leaned over an patted Oliver's shoulder. Hella out of charcter for Cassidy Calloway, who jumps away when anyone is within 3 feet of him. While Oliver was distracted, he grabbed the frisby off Oliver's finger and jogged over into the field.
"I don't have all day" he said smugly.
Re: [in person]
It was too bad Cassidy isn't going to be on the Ultimate team this year. Oliver considers him one of his pretty good friends but they don't really have any classes in common being two years apart. Now the one extracurricular they shared is gone as well. Guess he'll have to find ways to convince Cassidy to come out of his room a bit more this year.
He chuckles at Cassidy's smugness, stands up and stretches his arms, lifting his shirt a bit (to the delight of some nearby girls). "Alright Calloway, show me what you got," he taunts. Maybe some people will come to join if they see the two of them playing.
Re: [in person]
Out of the corner of his eye he could see a group of girls whisper and point at Oliver while he stretched. Whatever. Just because he filled out over the summer and yeah, Cassidy couldn't deny Oliver was easy on the eyes, didn't mean he had to be showing off all the time.
Clint hit his growth spurt in sophomore year, and cassidy was banking on the same thing. Principal calloway was already tall and so was mom so it made sense, you know genetically. Even Cameron was scraping 5'10 as a freshman! It just better come soon. It wasn't cool having your older sister 3" taller than you.
Re: [in person]
Oliver hadn't even noticed the girls and even if he had he would've just shrugged. He didn't mean for his shirt to lift up, that's just what happens when he stretches. Cassidy gives him too much credit.
"Well throw it already man. I seem to recall something about you not having all day."
Re: [in person]
"So much for being polite and waiting for you to stand up." Cas flung the disk to him. God damn Oliver had grown another two inches over was that really necessary?
Re: [in person]
The frisbee dips down, skims the ground, and raises back up as it sails towards Cassidy.
Re: [in person]
Of course the real reason was Cassidy was worried he couldn't keep his grades at their highest with ultimate cutting into his study time. He tried his best not to let on that he was actually one of those kids who had to read the material 3 times before he felt like he completely understood it.
Re: [in person]
"But hey if you ever have some down time during practice feel free to join. I'm sure the team would be cool with it."
Re: [in person]
He sure as hell wasn't expecting the second bit. Cassidy was a solid player and interacted accordingly, but always felt out of place at social events with the team. Honestly that was just him being a normal teenager but Cassidy didn't know that.
"Uh, yeah thanks." He spits out, losing whatever cool guy demeanor he was going for.
Re: [in person]
Oliver looks around a little bit. "I'd hoped we'd get some people to join us, but maybe we're the only people left who know how to throw a frisbee... Wow, what a responsibility."
Re: [in person]
Re: [in person]
Oliver clutches his heart dramatically, faking solemness. "I have let you down my brothers... Forgive me."
Re: [in person]
Re: [in person]
Cassidy catches the newcomer's eye and then turns to toss him the frisbee. "Looks like you got one more"
Re: [in person]
Re: [in person]
He sees the kid struggle to catch the disk... but his toss back isn't too bad. "Hey kid, ever played ultimate before?"
Re: [in person]
"Uh, no I haven't. This is the first time I've thrown a frisbee before."
Re: [in person]
"You need more than three people to play Ultimate" Cassidy says to Oliver.
"You throw it like this" Cassidy mimes the proper frisbee throwing movement for Diedrich. Sure he could have made a joke but that would be a low blow.
Re: [in person]
Wow though, he's never even thrown a frisbee?
Re: [in person]
He does much better his second try on catching the frisbee and mimics Cassidy again. "Like this?"
Re: [in person]
Re: [in person]
Re: [in person]
I don't even know who has the frisbee but I'm assuming it's Diedrich
"...but as for tricks, pass me the disk and I'll show you some."
assume he has to jump every time to grab the frisbee b/c y'all throw too high
"Oh, sure!"
Re: assume he has to jump every time to grab the frisbee b/c y'all throw too high
Re: assume he has to jump every time to grab the frisbee b/c y'all throw too high
Oliver catches the frisbee and starts spinning it on his finger. He moves it under his leg and onto the next finger in one smooth motion. Next he rolls it along his arm, his chest and cross his other arm, grabbing it and spinning it on his finger again. Lastly he pushes it up into the air and kicks it so it sails over to Cassidy.
It's not showing off ok, the kid wanted to see some tricks.
