Every new year the Dice North Student Council organizes a massive Carnival for all the students, teachers, parents and neighborhood! Every club and sports team ran an event and did their very best to make money for the spring semester. The anime club had even run a maid cafe one year how bout that!

It's a joyous event that even lets kids out of school all day friday to set up for. The entire front lawn of the school was covered in tents and games and streamers. People from the neighborhood and some eager freshman stood waiting by the ticket office. It was all calm and quiet until the clock tower in the courtyard chimed noon everyone can here the much much louder shout of Clinton Calloway's megaphone "WELCOME TO THE 2015 DICE NORTH CARNIVAL"

Hm. Usually girls would giggle and throw water back at him at this point. This was. Hm. He misjudged.

"Shit I-" Gutter put the squirtgun backinto the waist band of his pants. "Look I'm only teasing you. Do you have any idea how often I have to avoid chlorine pools? Haha. I can't even get my hair to look nearly as good as yours"

He slouched down in his chair, pointedly looking at the table and avoiding Gutter at this point. He wasn't sure if he should be embarrassed about being teased, or embarrassed that Gutter was only joking around. This school's football team was awful.

Complimenting his hair helped a little. It's petty but effective.

"It looks good. Your hair, I mean. It's a good dye. And you can put some extra conditioner in your hair before going in a pool, it'll help against the chlorine. "

Gutter pats him on the back a little roughly. "Hey now cheer up. You know you gotta always have a smile or something as a cheerleader. Or to make any money in a care wash to be honest."

" Yeah. "

Honestly he wasn't too worried about making money in the car wash. Because it was all going to the school and Areli only had so much school pride. He had gotten a cute boys phone number earlier though, at least.
He took a couple more moments to sit and mope before tucking his hair back behind his ears and sitting up a little bit more.

" Well now you have to stay and help. To make up for that. "

Gutter rolls his eyes and squirts Areli again.

"You're trying awfully hard to get me out of my clothes and working for you. down on my hands and knees scrubbing"

He really hasn't stopped smiling and laughing trough out the entire exchange

Areli still wasn't much a fan of the squirt gun but it received a better reception than the first time. He still went to swat it away to keep from getting wet, but at least this time he was laughing along with Gutter. Still not wanting to get squirted, but laughing.

"Well I just know what I like"

"Alright I got a deal for you." Gutter was pretty much out of water by now "I've gotta go for my shift in the dunk tank, but if you can dunk me I'll do you a solid and wash a car or two"

" That sounds fair, " He shook his arms out a little to get the water off.

" What if I miss?"

"If you miss..." Gutter tapped his gun on the table a few times pondering " If you miss then... Oh I got it! This is totally fair. You're gunna take tickets for the dunk tank, don't worry I ain't gonna put you in there. And you've gotta be wearing one of those super cute maid outfits while doing it"

That didn't really seem fair,
"Yeah, that seems fair. "
But Areli didn't really mind the deal after all he could probably rock a dress. It's also a fair so, hey, an excuse to wear one.

"You've got to be able to get the dress though. Not like I have one, and I'm sure as hell not in anime club, "

"Wait really? I mean I have one." He was a lil surprised Areli didn't have one. "Don't worry i'll get one for ya."

He very clearly looked Areli up and down. "Yeah they've got your size in this closet"

and it was totally fair what the fuck shad.

wow a maid dress and a white shirt are totally different levels here so not a fair trade

" Wait wait wait, you have one or you'll get one. These are very different. "

"I'm offended. It's very good quality" Gutter liked to think he was pretty good at looking fake offended.

"Don't worry your pretty little head. I'll make sure to get one that fits your figure."

Man this guy didn't even react to Gutter literally giving him a look up and down, or being teased, and only barely to being called cute. Man.

" Oh, I know I'd look good, I'm not worried about that. " He flipped his hair back over his shoulder with his hand, half mockingly.
" I wasn't worried about the quality, it was more if you already had one, not from the anime club. Because that would have been interesting. "

Areli shrugged and went to straightening his shirt out and adjusting his hair.
" So then you've got to go get ready then, huh? "

"You know if you want to see me in it so bad you could just ask." Gutter stood up and pushed the chair back in under the table.

"Ciao"
