Doris was just about to say something about him ordering a drink, but paused as he drank. She glanced around him to see who he was talking about. She did a bit of a double take upon seeing his father. They looked way too similar to her. "Well, you still tagged along. I'm grateful for that."

She took a long sip from her drink, and stared at Lawrence's now partially-empty glass. She did a small pout as she glanced back up. "Y'know, we're outside of school now. Lying to me is unnecessary, especially about drinking." She leaned forward a bit, as if trying to get a closer look at him. "You certainly didn't order that just to make me smile."
