"Would you- Hey- Xié-" Was the only thing that could be heard inbetween Xié's words that progressed into shouts.
"Shut up Xié. I know that. That was a lead in. Fuck." He hung his head, letting some of his hair fall over his shoulder. God this kid was embarrassing sometimes.
Looking back up
once he knew the tint in his cheeks was gonehe regained eye contact. "I was wondering if you had any plans to attend the dance, and if you didn't I was going to ask if you wanted to go."no subject
He cocked his head to one side, "I can't dance. So, I didn't actually consider going at all."
no subject
"...Right. Well, not that you've considered it, do you want to go?"

Contingency plans, he did not have one if Xié said he didn't want to go. Well fuck.

He would say 'why didn't you just say so' but he supposed that's probably what Xié would say. He just smiled and raised an eyebrow.
"I know I am. You're pretty decent yourself, so I thought we might go to the dance together. As friends." Not that he thought he had to clarify, however it felt like it needed to be stated.
no subject
No, really. He was confused. Was there anything else they would go as? As not friends? As enemies? As dates?
"Oh, gross!" He felt sick just thinking about it.

He tilted his head to the side again, "But what if he has a date already? Do you think that he would still want to come get food with us? I mean, we're his friends and clearly more important then just some random date but from what I understand that isn't how normal social things go? I think so anyway.
"Ah, fuck it. I'm going to ask him to come to dinner with us. He can just bring his date along and he or she can shut the hell up and suck it up. And if they don't we can ruin their evening or something. I'm sure Gareth would still have fun even if we did that."
Xié already had his phone out of his bag mid-ramble and was typing a text to Gareth with the speed of a thousand mighty cheetahs processing his thumbs.

"Considering us, and considering him, I am certain he'd pick dining with us. Besides, generally it's the after hours activity that interests him more than the pre-game." He said with a shrug.
Making his way back behind Xié, Deth pulled him and his wheelchair back into the main hall to continue making their way.
"So, what do you want to eat that night? Sushi? Italian? Classy fast food?"
no subject
no subject
"Ah. Some people party." He will now examine something down the hall as he pushed Xié.
no subject
He made an irritated noise and decided to ignore how stupid that was and instead answer Deth's other question. "I don't care what we eat. We should probably go somewhere inexpensive if Gareth is coming with is though."

Deth started to zone off down the hall, he was going to have to make an outfit for the event. What color to go with...

"He says sushi but he will probably eat a lot."

He was a little excited for this dance. A little. A small smile grew into a smirk. It was going to be fun.
"Well here you are." Deth said depositing Xié outside his classroom.
no subject
"Thanks, Deth, I'll see you later," he told him. He finished sending his text and looked up.
This wasn't his classroom.
"Deth, where the hell am I?" he asked.
He was alone.
God, damn it.
Not again.
