Rosalind stared stonily at each and every student as they filed into the gym. Under her gaze, even the innocent ones looked away guiltily as if she knew every class they'd skipped over the past four years. 

Once they were all seated on the rows of bleachers, she continued to stare, arms folded, until everyone was sweating with nerves.

"Which one of you," she said with the cold of a thousand winters in her voice. "Put Mr. Calloway's car on the roof of the school."

Tanum jumps and looks up from his phone. "Hey...Liam, right? Uh, I'm just. Texting my friend. Nothing much. Sitting on these bleachers. Ha ha." He glances at his phone one more time and then hurriedly puts it away.

Doris slipped through the different groups of students to near Liam and Tanum. She decided for a more gradual approach, scooting closer to her target every so often.

She moved to the bleacher below the two, shifting so that she was facing them. Doris' smile widened, and she raised a hand to wave lightly, her gaze fixed on Liam.
