Rosalind stared stonily at each and every student as they filed into the gym. Under her gaze, even the innocent ones looked away guiltily as if she knew every class they'd skipped over the past four years. 

Once they were all seated on the rows of bleachers, she continued to stare, arms folded, until everyone was sweating with nerves.

"Which one of you," she said with the cold of a thousand winters in her voice. "Put Mr. Calloway's car on the roof of the school."

Mason manages to yank the book away before Liam can get a mark in, scowling.
" I'm not paying for you marking up my book. "

" Don't you have friends somewhere you can go bother. "

"It's only pencil it'll erase. Enough kids draw dicks in these already anyways." He frowns.

"Well, there's you, and I was talking to Doris but now I'm up here obviously."

" We're not friends."

[autonuked]

"Sure we are!" All smiles. You can't convince him otherwise.

"We talk and hang out. That's what friends do."

" You talk, and you follow me. That's not the same thing. "
God, he got about half way through the homework, and now half of it was wrong at least. If they're going to be sitting in the gym all night, he's just not going to get the homework done at this rate. Mason glanced briefly at the doors, then over to where Rosalind was. Yeah, there's no way he could get out without getting caught and in a lot of trouble.

He looked back over to the crowd of people. Maybe he could find someone else to sit next to who he didn't hate, until Liam went away.
Lets see.....trying to find someone he didn't hate.


" And you're sure you dont have someone else who would much rather you annoying them."

It's close enough to Liam. He doesn't really do the make friends thing in a way that's conventional. Mason should be thanking him really, he was making sure he didn't lose points on his homework. He could say thank you at the very least.

"Ah no. I don't." Liam is hiding away from Doris. She keeps trying to make moves on him.

"Do you want me to tell you what you did wrong?" Pointing to the assignment again.

Doris watched as Liam scrambled up the bleachers. Well, at least he finally got what she was suggesting. She scuttled up, pausing just in front of the two. She flashed a wide smile, her eyes glowing warmly.
"Hey there, fella. How's it goin?" She nodded her head towards Liam. "You mind if I borrow this one for a lil' while?"

Mason was about to respond to Liam when she came over.

He just raises an eyebrow at her, but does glance at Liam before even bothering to respond. Mason is half assuming needing to borrow Liam, she means she wants to beat him up or something. That made the most sense, because why else would you willingly want to hang around him.

"He does mind! I was fixing his math homework Doris-As you can see." He wasn't lying at least, Mason really did get a bunch of stuff wrong, though he had the general idea. It was just the same mistake each time. Something Mason could probably figure out but really Liam really doesn't want to talk to Doris.

Was there anyone else he could run off towards. Anywhere. TANUM.

And he's gone. Great. She rolled her shoulders and looked to Mason. "Sorry 'bout that. If anything, let me know if you need him off your tail again. I'd be glad to nab him. He's just a li'l...slippery, I guess." Doris gave a quick pat to Mason's knee as she stood up. "I'll make it up to you sometime. Until then, ciao." and with that, she was on her way.

Mason glanced to where Liam ran off, then back to Doris. Hm.

Man, whatever. He pulled his headphones back on.
