Rosalind stared stonily at each and every student as they filed into the gym. Under her gaze, even the innocent ones looked away guiltily as if she knew every class they'd skipped over the past four years. 

Once they were all seated on the rows of bleachers, she continued to stare, arms folded, until everyone was sweating with nerves.

"Which one of you," she said with the cold of a thousand winters in her voice. "Put Mr. Calloway's car on the roof of the school."

"I'd need to have you carry the car anyway. Everyone knows i'm the brains of this operation"

KSJhnksrtaejn. Aerika shoves Bucky lightly, taking her phone out again to try and find another distraction.

"I know you think I'm strong and all-BUT I CAN'T CARRY A CAR." Not by herself at least. And she wouldn't do that anyways!!

"I'M HURT! I THINK YOU BROKE MY ARM" he whines, falling backwards and holding his arm where she shoved him.

"I DID NOT!" Now she's flustered, and red, and taking the bait. Aerika this is why he bothers you so much. You fall for everything.

She grumbles, holds up her phone, and snaps a picture of Bucky feigning injury. As if that's a good enough response.

"you know i'm just going to delete that later."

"or you know, make it my prof pic so everyone can see what a big bully you are!!"

"Not if-"She changes her password again, and Bucky takes her phone and cracks the code, again"-Not if I post it first."

"-No one will believe you." Most likely. Maybe.

"You're posting you injuring someone!! What is this the new vine trend? Instead of slap cam its BREAK YOUR FRIENDS CAM"

"YOU ARE NOT BROKEN. EXCEPT IN THE HEAD." She is pulling up facebook right now dammit, and turning away in an attempt to keep him from sabotaging her.

"I'm posting about you being needy and obnoxious while we're stuck in this gym till god knows how late."

"who do you think is going to crack first so we can get out of here?"

She leans back against Bucky now and sighs. "I don't know. Not the Calloways, they're all too stubborn to break."

"The new kid looked pretty nervous."

[deckitout]

"Who Cas?" Bucky said "He's in our year. I was partners with him on a couple assignments last year. He's actually a cool guy once you get past his barrier of 'don't fucking talk to me'"

"I never said I didn't like him." She hums to herself as if she were thinking this over. "I've seen him once or twice before, we've never talked."

Which was entirely Aerika's own doing. She's so terrible at starting conversations, she barely talks in class. "You're like a cat. You find the one kid in the room who's a dog person and run right to them and demand attention."

"I just know where I'm needed." He grinned "But seriously you'd probably like him. You have similar senses of humor, he's just snarkier. But he'd never replace me for your favorite"

Was he trying to help her make more friends or was he up to something. She just couldn't tell anymore. "The race is on. He's already in the lead by not stealing my phone."

"I never did anything bad!! I just beat all your high scores AND put it on the charger for you. I'm like a saint when it comes to people who borrow phones"

She raises an eyebrow. Her high scores will be reclaimed dammit. "..."

"You also keep breaking into my dorm room. Moving my furniture. Eating on my bed."
