Rosalind stared stonily at each and every student as they filed into the gym. Under her gaze, even the innocent ones looked away guiltily as if she knew every class they'd skipped over the past four years. 

Once they were all seated on the rows of bleachers, she continued to stare, arms folded, until everyone was sweating with nerves.

"Which one of you," she said with the cold of a thousand winters in her voice. "Put Mr. Calloway's car on the roof of the school."

Elliot was halfway through the bleacher when Piper yelled and his foot slipped a little. He managed to cling onto the seat in order to not fall, but his backpack hit the ground with a thunk.

" SHHHH. "
Loudly shushing people isn't really stealthy, Elliot.

"Leaving only makes you look more suspicious" Cassidy muttered while pulling out headphones from his bag.

There was no way Elliot was behind this. Too stupid. Too incapable. This was fun though.

"He's right y'know."

Elliot looked down at his bag, trying to decide if he wanted to climb back up or just jump down.

" Man, no one even asked you. "

Cassidy rolled his eyes and put an ear bud in. "Not that Marcus thinks it was you anyways. I'd leave too if I were you"

He frowned.

" It's not like I couldn' have done it. "

He wasn't really sure how to proceed from here. If he jumped down, he could get all his stuff, but also might get in trouble. If he didn't jump down, he's stuck there for however long it takes people to stop paying attention to him, and also someone could take his shit.

Also now Cas was being a shit to him and who is Elliot but someone to take the bait.

Cassidy flipped through songs on his black iphone. "How would you have done it then? "

Elliot looks down at his bag again before climbing back onto the bleachers.

" What, get a car on the roof?? Well. I could take it all apart in pieces and bring it up and reassemble it. "

Cassidy looked him up and down "You don't know how much an axel weighs do you?"

" I'd get other people to help, stupid. "

Don't mind her.

Piper isn't commenting anymore, but she giggles at Elliot's half baked idea.

"You'd need about 10 to do it over the principal's 30 minute afternoon meeting, the only time of day when he isn't by a window that faces the parking lot" Cassidy supplied him.

Elliot threw a dirty look over at Piper, then back at Cas.

" Uh, yeah. It's not like I dont know 10 people. "

"10 people who can dismantle a car and carry it piece by piece up 3 flights of stairs in half an hour? You'd need say, a football team for that."

Was Elliot the only person here who didn't know what was happening?

To be fair he's a freshman he doesn't know how this school operates yet.

"Well. Okay whatever, so my plan would work then. So ha. "

"Yeah like you've got it good with anyone on the football team."

Does Elliot even have friends.

No one would say Elliot is good at the whole 'making friends' and 'being mature' thing, but he has a few. He'd probably consider Piper a friend if only because she tolerates him bugging her a lot.

" Uhhh yeah, I totally know the football team. "

In their own way, they probably are.

"Everyone knows the football team. Try again." Cassidy had already been giving this kid answers, she wasn't going to spell everything out for him.

Elliot rolled his eyes. Man fuck this what did she know.

"Man, whatever. Me n Julian know eachother we have some of the same classes. All I'd gotta do is ask him n he could get the team. " They were far from friends at this point but they did ... know eachother.

" I could SO pull this off and No One would suspect it. "

This is about when Clint re-entered the room to applause and cheers.

After a few moments Mr. Marcus called Cassidy down. He didn't even turn to look at Elliot as the suddenly realization that Meekus was ACTUALLY talking about him another student. Cassidy had quietly pulled out his ear bud and slipped his phone away and walked down.


About 5 minutes later he shuffled back to his seat by Elliot and Piper, fully aware of all the eyes burning into the back of his head. He sat there, hunched over not talking.

"Do you think i'm an idiot?" Cassidy said back to Elliot tensely. "The whole school knows who did it and no ones stepped forward yet, why the fuck would I?"

" I dont know man you seem like a wuss, you mighta snitched. "

Cassidy looked Elliot up and down, sizing the guy up. This guy was a fucking twig, tiny and Cassidy just watched him get stuck IN the bleachers.

He snorted and very clearly rolled his eyes. "Oh, i'm sorry, were you talking about me? Because I was sure you were talking about yourself"
