Every new year the Dice North Student Council organizes a massive Carnival for all the students, teachers, parents and neighborhood! Every club and sports team ran an event and did their very best to make money for the spring semester. The anime club had even run a maid cafe one year how bout that!

It's a joyous event that even lets kids out of school all day friday to set up for. The entire front lawn of the school was covered in tents and games and streamers. People from the neighborhood and some eager freshman stood waiting by the ticket office. It was all calm and quiet until the clock tower in the courtyard chimed noon everyone can here the much much louder shout of Clinton Calloway's megaphone "WELCOME TO THE 2015 DICE NORTH CARNIVAL"

The only goals Garrow had at this carnival were to get to know a few people around the school and possibly eat his body weight in hot dogs. When he saw the car wash station, he figured he could kill two birds with one stone and mingle while Lucinda got some TLC. Hot dogs could wait.

So he pulled his behemoth truck around with a rumble, and went over to greet the two who were manning the station. "I suppose it's y'all I gotta talk to about takin' tickets?"

Areli was sitting on the picnic table they were using to collect tickets. No one had come over yet, really, so yeah, she didn't miss much. He recrossed his legs and rolled his eyes briefly.
" It's fine, It's not like anyones come by. " It's hard to tell with his tone if he was slightly peeved with her, or the fact that actually no one has come by. It seemed like even he realized that after a second because he glanced over to Helen to look her over before offering a "You look good" and waving her over.

" Let me fix your hair. "

uuugggghhhhhh. Of course the first person to get their car up here was...well anything but a cute boy, but worse it's the school nurse and definitely not cute.
Areli hopped off the table and dusted himself off before stepping up to Aiden.

" Oh! Hi Mr. Gould! Cars n stuff are ummm, 20 tickets. Unless you have a bike?? "

It's about time. The big truck ... didn't look too fun, but at least a cute boy got out of it, so hey, that's a plus. And, it looked like someone new for the Spring semester. That's always good too.

Areli smiled up, tucking some loose hair back behind his ear.
" Oh, yeah, that'd be me " He offered a hand, " Areli, cheer captain -- and you're new, right?? I mean, I haven't seen you around, at least..."

"Ah, yeah!" Garrow replied, shaking Areli's hand firmly. "Garrow Maxwell, just transferred. Glad to see people around here are friendly enough.

"So, cheer captain, huh?" He commented as he fished around in his pockets for the tickets he had gotten earlier. "You do all those sick flips n shit? Er, how many do I...?" He raised an eyebrow at Areli.

" I mean, I can, they're not that hard or anything, " Areli swatted at Garrow's arm when he pulled out the tickets,

" Don't worry about it, You're new here, this one's for free. On me. "

Helen nodded and made her way over, undoing her first ponytail and bunching the scrub how in her hands.
At least she had a minute to breathe.

"Thanks." She glanced around, noticing after a brief head count that they were pretty short-handed for their station. "Do you know if the others are going to show up soon..? Our numbers seem a bit small."

" They'd damn well better, "

He brushed her hair out the best he could with his fingers, and started braiding.

" It's a fundraiser, they can't just skip out on it. I know some people have other club priorities too, which, ok, I guess that's fine. "

Oh good Lia was here. Good. That's exactly what he needed. The girl he's had a thing for as long as Clint and her had been friends.

"I'm not- If I pick one person I'm afraid the others are going to come back and try and show them up"

He laughed a little, adjusting his position on the lil dunking seat.

" I mean, I'm ready but i don't know, I don't think you could actually hit the target, " Which was a bold face lie because if Lia had anything it was aim. Probably. It seemed like something she'd be good at Jojo honestly hadn't seen her throw that many balls around so, it was just a guess.

"I think the stage adds more of a game show feel, don't you?" Clint waved her over.

Lia shook her head and tossed the ball a couple more times, eyeing up the target. "You wanna bet on that?"

"Oh, and you hate getting kissed that much? Fine, maybe I won't use my tickets for this, I'll go ask Nifty for them back. I'm sure he'll understand when I tell him you broke my heart by saying you didn't want to kiss me." Lia leans on the table, putting her face close to his.
