Pajea hesitantly took the piece of paper and stared at it for a while. At least she didn't have to try and track him down outside of class.
She looked back up to him. "I read." She pursed her lips, wondering if she should go on. It would probably bore this kid. "I...um...I also like magic stuff, I guess." She immediately regretted saying that. She silently prayed that he wouldn't ask her to demonstrate. "I...uh...I....I...." Her voice dwindled down to a whisper, and she looked nervously to her bag. "I...I read." She said again, her stomach churning. This is exactly why she never talked to people.
