Pajea could feel herself shaking, using all her energy to hold in the laughter she wanted to let loose on the whole library.
"Yeah, yeah, ok. We got the story, we got the powerpoint, we got the costumes. We're set." She closed her book and set it back in her bag. She paused. Why did this kid care? He wasn't her friend. He certainly wouldn't want to be. Her smile fell and she glanced back to him, her face tensing a bit.
"Do you want to meet again before the deadline so we can go over this stuff? I don't have a lot going on until then." She said, the warmth in her voice slipping away with each word.
