It had either been a little birdie or a missent text message that had informed Leroy there was a market for classmates desperate to get hold of cheap cigarettes. While being a legal adult was generally more trouble than benefit (especially since he still had a year of high-school left), in this case it would hopefully work out in his favor. Certainly, before coming to Dice North, most of his friends had been made through shady deals for "standard necessities."
Leaning against his beat-up loaner car, Leroy lit a cigarette of his own. Technically he was more than ten feet off the school property, definitely in the legal clear, right? It was just slightly after the lunch period had begun, and students who left campus for lunch were heading by. If any of them were interested in duty-free items, so to speak, this was their chance. Limited time offer etc. Not like he was going to advertise like that.
