Rosalind stared stonily at each and every student as they filed into the gym. Under her gaze, even the innocent ones looked away guiltily as if she knew every class they'd skipped over the past four years. 

Once they were all seated on the rows of bleachers, she continued to stare, arms folded, until everyone was sweating with nerves.

"Which one of you," she said with the cold of a thousand winters in her voice. "Put Mr. Calloway's car on the roof of the school."

Toivo was just feeling very confused all around. Why was Alexei cackling on the bench here? "Alexei, I can't accurately measure your temperature if you keep hiding your face like that," Toivo whined, kneeling down in front of him.

"Seriously, if you're feeling that bad, maybe you should just go to the health center," he muttered. He looked up at Eivee, and said, "He suddenly started getting flushed and he's pretty warm, but Mrs. Strangenorth said he can't go to his room and has to get escorted by a teacher."

Eivee leans forward to try to see Alexei's face. "Oh no, does he have a headache? Does he feel faint? Maybe it's all these pe...ople...."

Wait a minute.

"Heyyyyyy," Eivee said, shifting her gaze back to Toivo. "Did he start getting flushed around the time he was giving you a massage?"

He looked at her curiously, trying in vain to understand where her train of thought was going. "Nnnooo? It was kind of after he was done. He never got back around to the massage after I told him he was annoying and I wanted to choke him, since that's about when he started getting sick," Toivo explained.

Eivee was full-on trying not to giggle at this point. She wasn't doing an awesome job at it either but really who could blame her. "Getting sick, right." She snickered and tried to give Alexei an "I'm on to you" glance, except it was way, way more noticeable than she meant it to be. More like a kind of weird, wide-eyed stare.

Alexei sat up slowly, looking over at Eivee as he very slowly slipped his legs through the back of the bleachers. When facing away from Toivo he winked and then slid down below the stands and was gone.

Eivee's whole face went red at the wink, and she stared blankly at the spot where Alexei had been a second before. "I, uh - wait!" She ducked her head under the bleachers, narrowly avoiding getting stuck. "Wait where are you going can we come Ms Psychonorth is getting scary"
